The Sticks on the lighting indicate the shape of rudder which changes the direction of ship.
The light has its own property and direction, but that is also able to be controlled by the shape of the cap, external factors, or design.
This lighting represents the shape of the rudder.

Chorong Lamp New Type - Led

Reinterpreting the 'chong-sa-chorong', the korean illumination device, in terms of modern thoughts.
This lighting device could be hanged onto fixed metal pole, or held by hand, but most importantly when it was hanged onto a long fixed pole
called 'deung rong deh', it would vividly show the difference between the wall and the illumination itself, building up tensions in the atmosphere.
That tension could be maximized by just hanging on to the supporting pole, and I have brought along the advantageous idea from
the 'chong-sa-chorong' which is being able to move from place to another in various directions.

Since ages ago,when we measure the weight of an object,we have often place something at the opposite side as a standard and compared.
This is called balance scale and it is used to compare weight of objects and measure and judge its value.
It is difficult for normal people to measure the value of light; however, the equipment which can help people use light exists.
The switch which controls electricity, the source of light, and the lamp, the luminescence of light, are standing each side of the balance and
measuring their values.

I expressed new culture that comes from the difference of expression in describing the word "putting in" between the east and the west.
Using the language, I created a new language design that gives us unreal feelings with western illumination and Korean container.
Sense of suspense was expressed through the type of piled containers and there's an electric bulb at the bottom of the container.
With the language of formative arts, the expression "putting in" was drawn out. As a result, considerate contemplation was elicited through
traditional properties of containers and the illumination of foreign culture.

Reinterpreting a lantern covered with blue silk in the middle and with red silk at both ends, modernly. It has iron frames. It was hung or held. It
was hung on a long pole called "Deung-rong-dae", and caused the strain by making a difference with a wall and an illumination. Making the
strain maximum, It can be stood only with a pole, and it can be moved to various direction like a traditional lantern.

Using spandex, it shows shape of blooming flower when it is lengthened and tight.I make a difference by using spandex which was conside-
red as flammable material.When it is not used, I want to make it worthy as an objet through letting a light bulb float above a tight cloth. When it
is used, I add an analogue "ON/OFF" instead of a digital type by making a point to a drawing act. "Bright image of blooming flower at dawn"

Night blooming / Hanging Light

An illumination is formed by using a petal as an unit. When we turn on this illumination inside a room, we can see the shape of a flower.
It makes you recognize an advatage of your surroundings by blooming the flower which never come out at night. Though upside down
flower illumianation, you can change the way how you point of view the flower.
